You said let's play hide and seek.
I started counting, counting on forever.
You were determined to never be found.
Come out, we need a do-over,
If we are still playing.
Because you gave up on us,
You took the high road home when things got rough.
I am not so lucky,
Just let me hide till the pain is gone,
That is if we are still playing.
Who turned off the lights?Who rewrote the rules?
Everything, now tinged with black.
The players unaware of the rule change.
Come find what remains of me in the cold void,
Supposing that we are still playing
Eternity.
Shadows are akin with death,
I have grown rather fond of the dark.
Let me hide in the abyss forever,
Unless we are still playing
Remember you promises,
"If I went and lost myself... know where to find me.
Because without you things go hazy."
Come find me.I am still waiting,
Assuming that we are still playing.
Gloom is perpetual now,
No ending or beginning.
Just existence.
Are we still playing?
